As a young girl, Jainaba Jobarteh loved being of service to her family and friends. She was raised in The Gambia, where her parents worked hard to provide for the family. As a nine-year-old, she decided she wanted to be engaged in something that would benefit the community in a wholesome way, and becoming a healthy living advocate seemed the best option. It's worked out well for her, seeing as she's established a food co-op program where she resides.
